Guten Tag Germany: Awesome Stay at EastSeven Berlin Hostel
So many things to love at EastSeven Berlin Hostel. This hostel is run and managed by people who still travel a lot, and of course, stay in hostels all over the world. “Learn and adapt“, that’s the way to go.
EastSeven want to be small (ish), relaxed and comfortable, as well as clean and organized. And they are not a party hostel. Glad to report that there were many family with young children staying at this place. And some of us were ‘neighbors‘ on the same floor. There were also non-family, so I still enjoyed hostel environment, yet didn’t feel out of place.
And I think they really ‘walk the talk‘ … the hostel was properly run and managed. Heart EastSeven Berlin Hostel. This stay reminded me why I like hostel-stay soo much.
Unlike Ani & Haakien Hostel in Rotterdam (which we also like), our double room at EastSeven was spacious. It made a perfect base for our five nights stay in Berlin.
3 things that I especially like about EastSeven:
1) Their kitchen, their ‘free food‘ and basic cooking ingredients .. ZE’s favorite kitchen, with lots of spices. Make sure you correctly label your stuffs, else it goes into ‘free food’ bin.
2) Brilliant ‘Welcome Back‘ idea, which grants a 10% discount during the next stay with them .. customer loyalty scheme at its simplest best. Psst .. I can even share it with friends. PM me.
3) Their discount programme (10% discount) with F&B establishments within hostel’s vicinity. All we needed to do was to show EastSeven’s wrist band (which now belongs to ZE).
When I first walked in to their bathroom and toilet (only one cubicle), I was worry that it would take a long wait. But we didn’t face much problem. I guess, that helps in keeping it clean. This has gotta be the cleanest shared bathroom facility in a hostel. I trust that they really clean it, twice in a day, as they said. Kudos EastSeven.
Is this our best hostel stay this trip? Yeah, it’s perfect, can’t find much things to fault. And the guests also have the same chillax feel. Oh yeah, and their check-out is at 12pm. W00t!
ZE said she likes the kitchen, the free food bin, the spices, the non-crowded lounge, the board and card games, the outdoor garden and hanmock ..And the people are nice. Quite a few guests chatted with her. Now, isn’t that a long list?
A-MUST-STAY in Berlin!!
