Outlet shopping at Muang Thong Thani

Decathlon. Nike. Under Armor. Adidas. Skechers. Anello. Timberland. AIIZ. Levi’s. And others. If outlet shopping is your thing, the Outlet Square at Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi might be the right place for you.

The Decathlon here is just a small outlet.

Outlet Square is easily accessible via van รถตู้. There is a van station at Cosmo Bazaar, 2nd floor and it covers five destinations including Phloen Chit, Silom, Sanam Luang, The Mall Ngamwongwan, and Chatuchak – more info here http://www.cosmobazaar.biz/en/van-station.

Thumbs up to the van stations – air-conditioned waiting areas. Get a ticket from the queue machines, and then pay at the counter. It’s a relatively small area, but nevertheless it’s great that there are LED monitors displaying routes. When I was there on a weekday afternoon, there is a van to my destination (Chatuchak) every 30 minutes.

The fare is only 36 baht (approx 30 mins. depending on traffic) to MRT Chatuchak Park/BTS Mo Chit, and the van will stop near MRT Chatuchak, exit 3.

Not Your Typical Tourist

Travel opens up a whole new world, which is cliche but true. I am a strong advocate for independent and solo travel. I was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia but now live in Bangkok, Thailand, resulted from a chance encounter in 2009 with my why-are-you-Thai bf. I am now split between two countries. One country for my bf, another for the family, for the occasional weekend together.
