Tao Kae Noi Is No Longer Just A Seaweed Snack

Tao Kae Noi [เถ้าแก่น้อย] is a famous Made In Thailand seaweed snacks, that has made it into one of the most typical tourist souvenirs.

Recently, from my blog search terms (words and phrases that people type into search engines), I found that few people were searching for “lemongrass tea taokaenoi.” There ain’t much information when I looked it up on the internet myself.

Since when Tao Kae Noi has lemongrass tea?

Not Your Typical Tourist

A passionate advocate for independent and solo travel, I traded life in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for the vibrant streets of Bangkok, Thailand. This shift is all thanks to a "chance encounter" in 2009 that led to marriage with my Thai husband. I currently split my time between Bangkok (my main base) and Kuala Lumpur for family—documenting the unique blend of a Malaysian life lived abroad.
